Majestic America Line is America's largest river and coastal cruise company. The company was formed in 2006 through the combination of American West Steamboat Company and the vessels of Delta Queen Steamboat Company. Seattle-based Majestic America Line is a division of Ambassadors Cruise Group, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ambassadors International, Inc. (Nasdaq: AMIE).

"In January 2007, Majestic America Line’s 223-guest ship, the Empress of the North, was recognized as one of the highest rated small cruise ships in the world by the readers of Condé Nast Traveler. Judged on seven criteria, the Empress of North placed eighth in the competitive small ship category for vessels which accommodate fewer than 500 guests. The Empress earned an outstanding overall score of 91.5, with readers awarding a perfect 100 in crew/service. The prestigious honor was published in the publication’s 2007 Cruise Poll, an annual guide to the world’s top cruise ships."
